Are the templates really free?
Yes. MIT license, no sign-up, no email. Use them for personal and client work, change anything, sell the sites you build.
How do I use a template with Claude Code, Codex or Cursor?
Download index.html and AGENTS.md into your project (each template page has the curl commands), then ask the agent to make it a site for your business. AGENTS.md tells the agent what to keep and what to replace. Give the agent the file, not a link: from a link it rebuilds a different page.
Do I need a framework or a build step?
No. Each template is one HTML file with its CSS and JavaScript inside. GSAP, ScrollTrigger and Lenis load from a CDN. Open the file in a browser or upload it to any static host.
Where can I publish a site made from a template?
Anywhere that serves static files: GitHub Pages, Netlify, Cloudflare Pages, Vercel or your own hosting. On GitHub, click Use this template and turn on Pages in the repository settings.
Does the contact form work?
Not yet: the forms send nothing until you connect them. Use a form service such as Formspree or Netlify Forms, or remove the form. AGENTS.md in each template explains both.
Can I use the photos?
The photos come from Unsplash under the Unsplash License, which allows commercial use. Each template credits every photo in CREDITS.md. Most sites replace them with their own.
How can an AI agent find these templates?
Through llms.txt and index.json in this folder, a .md and a .json file for every template, and the GitHub account 8bsite. Everything is plain HTML and text, readable without JavaScript.
