If it plugs in, it is ours to look after.

No list of what is “out of scope”. If someone in your office uses it to do their job, it is covered by the same monthly price.

Who answers

One of five engineers, all of whom have been in your office and know what the printer in the corner does.

Out of hours

Broadband, server and security alerts reach whoever is on call, at night and at weekends. Or write to hello@quiet-systems.example.

Sixty offices call us. Here are five of them.

Practices, studios, shops with an office upstairs, a charity with more volunteers than desks. Each one is different; the job is the same.

  • Two architects working at screens in a bright studio

Fairlight Architects9 people, HockleyDrawings open in seconds now, not minutes.

  • A dental practice reception with a green desk

Hollis Dental14 people, BeestonThe X-ray computer has a network of its own.

  • Two accountants looking at a laptop together at a desk

Marsh & Cole6 people, West BridgfordClient files backed up nightly, tested monthly.

  • A customer paying at the counter of a café and bakery

Loaf & Larder22 people, two shopsTills, rota tablets and the office on one network.

  • People working at desks in an open-plan charity office

Meadows Tenants’ Trust31 people, the MeadowsVolunteers get logins that close when they leave.

Locked, without the lecture.

Most break-ins at small offices start with one reused password or one convincing email. We put five layers in the way and set each one up at the person’s own desk.

  • Two-step sign-in

On email, files and banking, switched on with each person rather than by a link they ignore.

  • A password manager

One for each person, shared vaults for the team, and no passwords on sticky notes.

  • Encrypted laptops

A laptop left on a train is a nuisance, not a letter to every client.

  • Tested backups

Restored once a month into a spare machine, so we know they work before you need them.

  • Phishing drills

Twice a year, a harmless fake email and a ten-minute chat with whoever clicked.

One price per person. Everything in it.

  • Calls, visits and fixes, as many as it takes
  • Every device each person uses, phones included
  • Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace looked after
  • Nightly backups, the security layers and the drills
  • The monthly page for the owner, in plain English

What changed after the first month.

Three offices, asked what they used to put up with. The second line is what they would tell you now.

  1. Hollis Dental

14 people in Beeston, with us since March

BeforeThe Wi-Fi dropped three times a day, and the X-ray computer still ran a system nobody updated.

No drop-outs since the X-ray computer moved onto a network of its own.

  2. Fairlight Architects

9 people in Hockley, with us for two years

BeforeOpening a large drawing took four minutes over a shared drive, and the junior architect fixed everything else.

Drawings open in seconds, and the junior architect draws again.

  3. Loaf & Larder

22 people across two shops, with us since spring

BeforeEach shop had its own broadband, its own passwords and a till that stopped when the rota tablet updated.

One network, one set of logins, and tills that keep taking money.

Five people. You will know them by name.

Nobody here works from a script. Each engineer looks after the same dozen offices, so the person who answers has usually stood in yours.

Questions offices ask before they call.

Something else on your mind? Ask it in the audit; there are no wrong questions about printers.

Do we have to sign a long contract?

No. You pay monthly and can leave with thirty days’ notice. When you go, we hand over every password and a written map of your setup.

What if something breaks at night?

Broadband, server and security alerts reach whoever is on call. A laptop that will not start on a Saturday can wait for Monday, and we will be with you by nine.

We already have someone who does our IT.

Keep them if they enjoy it. Most people we meet would rather stop; we can take the dull part and leave them the projects they like.

Do you come to the office?

Yes, anywhere within an hour of Nottingham, as often as it is needed. Most fixes still happen remotely within the same morning.

We use Macs. Is that a problem?

Not at all. About a third of our offices are mostly Mac, and most of the rest have a mix of both.

One of us spends a morning in your office, lists what you have and what it costs, and sends you one page of what we would change. You keep the page either way.
