What's on the floor
Four rooms under two arches. Walk in, take a cup of coins from the bar and play anything that's lit.
-
Thirty uprights from 1979 to 1999: shooters, racers, fighters and one stubborn maze.
The uprights -
Twelve tables on the pinball row, levelled every Monday, rubbers changed every month.
Pinball row -
Fourteen metres of bar with a ledge for your drink beside every machine.
The long bar -
Thursdays from eight: five machines, three tries each and a board that remembers.
League nights
This week under the arches
Book for a nightWe're Ailsa and Dev. We fixed our first cabinet on a kitchen table in Partick.
Quarter Moon opened in 2019 under two railway arches with eleven machines bought from a seaside arcade that was closing for good.
Now the floor holds forty-two, the long bar pours till two and the back room rebuilds whatever the league breaks. Same rule as night one: if it's lit, it plays.
Your initials on the board by Sunday
Every Thursday from eight: five machines, three tries each, one board. The top six stay up until somebody beats them, and the season's champion drinks free for a month.

Birthdays, leaving dos, launches and one memorable wedding. We set the machines to free play, the bar pours what you choose and the playlist is yours.

-
“The only bar in town where my phone stays in my coat. Forty minutes on the racing cabinets and I'd forgotten it existed.”
-
“They fixed the flipper on my favourite table while I finished my drink, then let me have the first go.”
-
“We had the back arch for my fortieth. Free play, our playlist, and my initials on the board by midnight.”
