Lifts with one hand
Cork-and-hemp composite on a thin aluminium frame. Take it out to the balcony without a second thought.
Stacks eight high
Eight Perches stand just 1.1 m tall in a corner, so extra seats appear when friends do and disappear after.
Built to be fixed
Every part is screwed, never glued. A scuffed seat is a €19 swap with one hex key, not a new chair.

Marta spent twelve years designing office seating in Milan before moving home to Lisbon. She shapes every Loam piece around how people really slouch, perch and fidget.

Tomás grew up around his family's cork mill in the Alentejo. Today he runs the workshop, the supply chain and, on most mornings, the espresso machine.

Book a pickup
Pick a day online. A courier collects the chair in its original box, or in a padded wrap we post to you.
We take it apart
One hex key, twelve screws. Cork, hemp shell, aluminium frame and felt pads each go to their own line.
Parts become new chairs
Frames are re-anodised, shells reground into fresh ones, and the cork returns to the mill as granules.

3.1 kg, light enough to lift with one hand. Drift weighs 7.4 kg, so it stays put when you lean back but still slides easily across a room.
Perch is happy on covered terraces and balconies. Cork shrugs off moisture, though we suggest bringing it in for the winter. Drift is an indoor chair.
Ten years on every frame and shell, two years on felt pads and cushions. If something breaks, we post the part along with a short video showing how to swap it.
Across the EU, the UK, Switzerland and Norway. Delivery is free on orders over €400; below that it's a flat €25 per order.
Four to seven working days in mainland Europe. Every chair ships flat in a recycled cardboard box, with the hex key taped inside the lid.
Yes. Sit on it for 30 nights, and if it isn't right, we collect it for free and refund you in full.
A damp cloth and a drop of mild soap. Cork is naturally antibacterial and resists stains, so there's rarely more to it than that.
