We teach design the way a good poster works: one idea, a clear grid and four inks. Small groups, real briefs, and everything you make ends up on paper.

Courses that end on paper
Each course runs for twelve weeks, two evenings a week or on Saturdays. Take one, or combine two for a full term.

From brief to print
Every course follows the same twelve weeks, whatever you are making. Crits every Thursday, proofs every Saturday.

Weeks 1–2
Brief
A real client or a real cause. You write the brief back in one sentence before you draw anything.

Weeks 3–5
Sketch
Fifty thumbnails, pencil only. We pin them to the wall and choose three together.

Weeks 6–9
Grid & type
The idea meets a grid, a typeface and four inks. Weekly crits keep it honest.

Weeks 10–12
Print
Proofs, corrections and a final run in the studio downstairs. Then the show, and a glass of something.

No. Most people start with Poster design or Typography with no background at all. Curiosity and a pencil are enough.

We sketch on paper first, then move to Figma and InDesign on the studio machines. You do not need your own licence.

Every session is written up with notes and photos, and a tutor runs a catch-up hour every Saturday morning.

You get one for each finished course, but the printed portfolio will say far more about you.
