Tandem

Employment, tax and legal advice, side by side

Alongside

A rowing crew pulling their oars together on open water

The advisory partner that sits on your side of the table: employment, tax, legal and compliance, handled by one team that knows your business by name.

Our aim

To make hard rules feel like firm ground under your business.

One team, pulling in the same direction as your business.

Twenty-one years of being exactly who we said we would be.

Four colleagues smiling around a laptop at a shared table

Tandem began with a simple idea: advice can be exact and human at the same time. We have grown every year since and kept the part that matters. Every client has named people who know the file and answer the phone.

Meet the team

What we take off your desk

Five disciplines under one roof, so the lawyer, the accountant and the payroll lead are already talking before you call.

  • Four people reviewing documents together at a wooden table

    Employment and payroll

Contracts, payroll, hiring and hard conversations, run to the letter and to the person.

    • Monthly payroll
    • Contracts and policies
    • Restructuring
  • A person using a calculator at a desk beside a coffee mug

    Tax and accounting

Bookkeeping, filings and planning that sees the next quarter coming before it arrives.

    • Quarterly returns
    • Annual accounts
    • Tax planning
  • Two people signing a document at a desk

    Corporate and legal

Company law, agreements and disputes, with a lawyer who already knows your file.

    • Shareholder agreements
    • Commercial contracts
    • Dispute support
  • A person drawing a diagram on a glass whiteboard

    Compliance and risk

Data protection, reporting channels and audits, kept current without the last-minute panic.

    • Reporting channels
  • People crossing a bright office lobby with tall windows

    Growth and mobility

Opening in a new country, moving people across borders, preparing for investors.

    • Market entry
    • Visas and relocation
    • Due diligence

What we hold to

Six habits that decide how we answer the phone, write an invoice and own a mistake.

  1. People before paperwork

We look after human relationships without distinction: your team, ours, and everyone in between.

  2. One file, many hands

Specialists from four disciplines work the same file together, so nothing falls between two desks.

  3. Your side of the table

We take your targets as our own and sit next to you in every negotiation, audit and hard conversation.

  4. Curious on purpose

We try new tools and methods when they solve a real problem for a real person, never for show.

  5. Accountable in the open

Responsibility, integrity and transparency are written into how we bill, report and admit what went wrong.

  6. Growth that lasts

We back businesses built to stay: generous with people, careful with money, fair to the place they work in.

The first ninety days

How a new client moves over to us without a single missed payroll or a late return.

Plan your move
  1. Week one

    A long first conversation

We listen before we quote: how you work, what worries you, what is already late.

  2. Weeks two and three

A map of what you owe

Every filing, contract and deadline in one calendar, with a named person next to each.

  3. Month two

    We take the weight

Payroll, returns and paperwork move over to us, with your previous adviser briefed and thanked.

  4. Every month after

    Reports you can read

One page in plain words: what we did, what is coming, and what needs your decision.

The people who pick up the phone

Forty-two specialists in four offices. You will know the names on your file before the first invoice arrives.

We hire people who explain things well. If that sounds like you, write to us.

Questions we hear every week

Something else on your mind? Ask us directly

How quickly can you take over our payroll?

Usually within three to four weeks. We run one month in parallel with your current provider, compare every payslip, and only then switch over.

Do we have to move every service at once?

No. Most clients start with one discipline, often payroll or tax, and add the rest when it makes sense for them.

Who will we actually talk to?

A named partner and a day-to-day contact who both know your file. You get their direct numbers, not a ticket system.

How do you charge for work outside the plan?

We send a written quote before we start. If the work changes along the way, you hear it from us before you see it on an invoice.

Can you work alongside our current accountant or lawyer?

Yes. We often cover one discipline while another adviser keeps the rest, and we are happy to share files with them.
