  • The cinnamon swirl ruined every other bun for me. I walk twenty minutes for it, twice a week.

Good questions

The things people ask at the counter while their coffee is being made.

Still hungry? Ask Joe!

Ask us anything
Do you have gluten-free bakes?

Every day: brownies, an almond cake and a seeded loaf, baked first thing on a freshly cleaned bench. Our kitchen is not gluten-free, so tell us about any allergy and we will help you choose.

How late can I pre-order?

Until 9 pm for the next morning. Whole cakes and anything with a name piped on top need two days.

Do you deliver?

Our cargo bikes cover two miles around Mill Lane from 9 am, Tuesday to Saturday. Delivery is free for Bread club members and $3 for everyone else.

Can I order a custom cake?

Yes, with two days' notice. Send us the date, how many people and one wild idea; we will come back with a sketch and a price.

Are classes okay for complete beginners?

Absolutely. Most people at the table have never baked bread before. You get an apron, a recipe card and as much patience as you need.
